Welcome to Hunting Grounds, the partner site to Playground. That's right folks, this is the long awaited "Look! I think I found a seme!" clique.
Since this is the partner (or should I say "evil twin" x.x;;) site to Playground, I've tried my best to imitate that. Even down to the name, Hunting Grounds, which is a mimikery of the name "Playground." Where else would a seme be but out hunting his uke? For all those poor souls like myself who have longed for the opportunity to catch a seme yet were only presented with a playground of innocent ukes, here's is your chance! So just what exactly is a "seme" or a "uke"? After a long discussion over AIM, this is what I learned from mitsu. The terms "seme" and "uke" are probably Japanese in origin and are generally used in reference to male/male relationships in fanfiction. The "seme" would be the male partner "on top" and "uke" would be the one "on bottom." Interpret that however you wish. If you're still not entirely sure, here is a list of commonly accepted (to my knowledge anyway) semes that you can use for reference: And their respective ukes: Credits: This clique is derived from Playground, which was thought up by Maduin and Mitsu. |
